POSITION/TITLE: Purchasing Coordinator 
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: President
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Purchasing of raw materials
Prepare, track and analyze RFQ’s
Inventory management
Strong Negotiation skills in the areas of: contracts, logistics, invoicing and pricing
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
2 to 3 year’s previous experience in Purchasing within a Manufacturing environment (plastics preferred) OR recent 4year college graduate with a degree in Supply Chain Management
Experience with SAP or other inventory tracking software
Highly organized and detail oriented
Self-starter who is able to work independently
Strong communication skills
International business acumen
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting, bending, stooping, walking, light lifting, climbing stairs, manual dexterity, direct exposure to heat and safety hazards associated with production environment, and computer operation.
